Your first enema is nothing to be afraid of.
Break it down in these basic steps
Step 1:
Take two heaped spoons full of your enema coffee. The best way to prepare it is by using a coffer plunger. Just add boiled water and allow it to slowly brew. Once it has reached room temperature you can use the plunger to get a filtered solution.
Step 2:
Ensure that your enema bag is clean and the flow valve is closed. The coffee solution can be poured straight into the bag.
Step 3:
Use the hook at the top to secure it to an elevated spot like a shower head or door hook. You can test the flow by slowing opening the valve before inserting the tip into your rectum.
Step 4:
Make sure you find a comfortable spot where the bag is in a secure and elevated position. Use a lubricant on the tip and gently secure it in your rectum. Some clients find this easier when lying in their left side. Once comfortably in position you can slowly release the flow valve.
Step 5:
Allow a comfortable amount of coffee/water to start flowing into your bowels. If it is your first attempt at an enema take things nice and slowly. Never let the pressure build up too much. As the solution is entering your bowels you can gently massage your tummy in an nit clockwise direction to allow for better flow into your colon.
Step 6:
If you can hold the solution of coffee/ water for 10-15 minutes you will get greater results but do what you feel is comfortable. When new to enemas you might find the urgency to release after a few minutes. You can build up to larger volume and longer retention times.
Relax while you are on the toilet and allow for a more liquid bowel movement. If you can elevate your feet with a stepping stool you will also open the pelvic area to ensure a better release.
As you get more comfortable you will retain more water Ned find you can hold a bit longer before the need to release.
